SUMMER OF KINDNESS
ORANGE VILLAGE ACCEPTS THE CHALLENGE!
Area mayors are challenging all municipalities in Northeast Ohio to a Summer of Kindness. Orange Village residents participate in acts of kindness on a daily basis without recognition so we can win this challenge! Each act of kindness that is reported between now and August 19th will enroll the doer or family of kindness in a rewards lottery at the end of the summer. Prizes will include sports tickets, grocery and restaurant gift cards, and other wonderful prizes. Kindland will also announce a “community winner”.
Get your Summer of Kindness “challenge board” by clicking here, downloading the Just Be Kind app, which is available at www.justbekindapp.com or pick one up at Orange Village Hall, 4600 Lander Road. The board contain 20 easy acts of kindness that individuals and/or families can do: thanking health care workers, helping someone who is sick, support a local business, donating used clothes, books or toys are some examples.
Kindland is driven by Values-in-Action Foundation, in partnership with 70-some other nonprofits, schools districts and governments and more than 300 community leaders to make Northeast Ohio the kindest land in the country. Let’s work together to spread kindness in Orange Village, throughout Northeast Ohio and the world!
