If you are experiencing a power outage, please contact FirstEnergy. You can report a power outage use this url: https://www.firstenergycorp.com/outages_help/
Report_Power_Outages.html,click on quick access and just enter your telephone number that is associated with your account and click on next. You may also call the Illuminating company at 1-888-544-4877.
Even if you experience a general power outage or a quick intermittent power outage at your residence, please contact them.

DO NOT call the Village Hall, 911 or Chagrin Dispatch. The Village does not have any control over the time frame or the areas to be repaired first. The Illuminating Company has an automated 888 number to call that will register the location you are calling from and will report your area as in need of repair. They will even give you an estimate of the time of repair. Please keep this number by your phone for easy access 1-888-544-4877. If there are downed wires, damaged pole or transformer arcing wires, call 216-247-7321 and give the location to the police dispatcher. Stay away from the area, police or fire department personnel will respond.
