A Message from Mayor Kline:

Eclipse Glasses

I would like to take this opportunity to express my regrets concerning the solar eclipse glasses the Village procured and distributed for our residents to enjoy the celestial event we experienced yesterday. Like all of you, I was disappointed by the glasses not functioning properly, which required me to scramble to be able to take in this spectacular event. My hope is that you were able to experience the eclipse.
The glasses were purchased from a reputable vendor and they carried the ISO 12312-2 approval.
Consequently, we intend to pursue compensation/restitution from the vendor of the eclipse glasses.
