SPEED SIGNS
We are excited to share that our Traffic Calming Initiative is well underway! Orange Village Police Department was awarded a grant in the amount of $27,640 from the competitive 2025 Cuyahoga County Supplemental Grant. Orange Village Service Department installed eight radar speed signs throughout the village.
Preliminary data is promising: In just the first week of operation, the signs have helped reduce excessive speeding, with 623 fewer vehicles traveling 10 MPH or more over the posted speed limit.
These signs are already making a difference and we thank you for doing your part. Please continue to drive slowly, obey posted speed limits, and help keep our roads safe for everyone.
