To all dog owners, please know that there is legislation regarding removal of feces, barking or howling animals and animal running at large:

No person being the owner or in charge or control of any dog, shall permit such dog to commit a nuisance on school grounds, Village grounds or other public property, or upon any private property other than the property of such owner or person without the permission of the owner of such property. The owner or person in charge or control of such dog shall immediately remove all feces deposited by such dog and dispose of the same in a sanitary manner and NOT in the sanitary sewers.
The Service Department is finding a great deal of dog waste in the park, please do your part!
- 505.09 Barking or howling dogs. No person shall keep or harbor any dog within the municipality which by frequent and habitual barking, howling or yelping, creates loud and disturbing noises of such a character, intensity and duration as to disturb the peace, quiet and good order of the municipality.
