PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Council of Orange Village will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at the Orange Village Hall, 4600 Lander Road, Orange Village, Ohio.
The purpose of the hearing is for council to hear public comment before it considers the requests of 27500 Chagrin Boulevard, LLC, the owner of the Orange Plaza at 27440-27550 Chagrin Boulevard, for two variances. One variance that has been requested is from Section 1154.05(a) of the Orange Village Codified Ordinances, which requires a front yard setback of 100 feet. If approved, the requested variance would allow an ATM machine and attendant facilities to be located not closer than 21.5 feet from the Chagrin Boulevard. The second variance request is for a variance from Section 1162.03 to permit the elimination of seven (7) parking spaces. The existing parking is lawfully nonconforming, currently having nine (9) fewer parking spaces than is required by the code.
The request for variance is on file in the office of the Building Department, Orange Village, and it may be viewed by those interested during regular business hours, Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Orange Village Building Department.
This notice is published pursuant to Section 1142.06(b)(3) of the Orange Village Codified Ordinances.
