For your safety, please make sure your address is visible from the road during the day AND at night.

Numbers on homes and mailboxes should be checked periodically for anything that may obstruct their view. Clearly visible home addresses are important. Every second counts if there is an emergency and the responders are trying to find your home.

Your home address should be viewable from the street with reflective numbers so they are seen at night and free from any obstructions. If your address is on your mailbox, it must be plainly visible when a vehicle is approaching the mailbox from either direction on the street.
Taking these factors into account can make all the difference with response times for service.
