ARTEMIS I LAUNCH
From testing spacecraft before flight to developing the power and propulsion systems for long-term human exploration, NASA’s road to the Moon goes through Ohio. There are more than 60 companies and 3,000 NASA Glenn staff contributing to Ohio’s space economy and this historic mission. This innovation is leading us back to the Moon where we will explore the lunar surface and inspire the world before venturing to Mars. You can meet the team from NASA’s Glenn Research Center and participate in hands-on demonstrations and activities during the Artemis FREE Day at the Great Lakes Science Center. You’ll learn about how NASA researchers, engineers, scientists and administrative staff are supporting technology development and testing for launching, landing and working on the Moon.
The attached flyer and website contains more information on this great opportunity to be a part of history!
Admission is FREE, but please contact the Great Lakes Science Center’s Group Sales Department at edhelp@glsc.org or 216-621-2400 for groups of 10 or more.
