Hydrant Flushing:

The members of the Orange Village Fire Department will be out flushing fire hydrants between Tuesday, September 8, 2020 through Monday September 28, 2020. When possible, signs will be posted at the entry to individual neighborhoods on the day of flushing. Residents may notice some discoloration in their tap water. This does not pose any danger as it is simply sediment in the pipes that becomes disturbed when a high volume of water is released through the hydrant. Simply run your faucet until the water clears. You may also note some minor discoloration in your laundry. Another cycle with clean water will remove this residue.
