1. Mark Bram, President of Council called the work session to order at 8:00pm

Members present: Kluter, Soroky, Braverman, Brown, Perry, Bram
Members absent: Centanni (arrived late)
Other present: Kathy Mulcahy, Mayor Stephen Byron, Law Director
Brian Mader, Engineer Kristin Dubyak, Council Clerk
4. Audience comments relative to agenda items.
No comments.
5. Old Business: Introduction and consideration of:
A. ORDINANCE NO. 2007-35
An ordinance appointing the Law Director and the Law Department of Orange Village, providing
compensation, and repealing certain ordinances. 2nd Reading
B. ORDINANCE NO. 2007-36
An ordinance confirming the appointment of Stephen Hovancsek & Associates, Inc. as Orange Village
Engineer and repealing certain ordinances. 2nd Reading
Councilman Braverman requested Inc. to be added to Stephen Hovanscek & Associates firm name.
6. New Business: Introduction and consideration of:
A. ORDINANCE 2007-37
An ordinance authorizing the Treasurer to transfer certain funds and declaring an emergency. 1st Reading
Mayor Mulcahy requested the rules be suspended for this ordinance at the December 12, 2007 meeting.
Councilman Centanni arrived at 8:08pm.
B. ORDINANCE 2007-38
An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a collective bargaining agreement with the Fraternal
Order of Police and declaring an emergency. 1st Reading
To be discussed in executive session on December 12, 2007
C. ORDINANCE 2007-39
An ordinance establishing the full-time position of Assistant Treasurer/Tax Administrator, establishing the
compensation for that position, repealing certain ordinances and declaring an emergency. 1st Reading
Mayor Mulcahy will provide members of Council with a list of additional tasks to be performed by this
person.
7. Audience comments relative to all subjects.
Al McCauley, Emery Road - Comments on Orange Village personnel and elected official issues.
Councilman Brown left the meeting at 8:25pm.
8. Any other business for discussion.
Braverman - Contributions and seniority as a Council member.
- Issues during the recent campaign.
Centanni - Public records seminar at Tri-C.
- NOCCA meeting on November 29, 2007.
9. There being no further business, the work session adjourned at 8:36pm.
