MINUTES
Mayor Kathy Mulcahy called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm.
Members Present: Anthony Lazar, Jud Kline, Scott Lewis,
Herb Braverman, Brian Hitt, Mayor Kathy Mulcahy
Members Absent: None
Others Present: Rebecca Schaltenbrand, Asst. Law Director
Ron Kluchin, Village Architect

#1 FENCE

Scott Lewis recused himself from the Commission table, as he is the proponent’s next door
neighbor. Mr. Lewis then addressed the Commission as a member of the public and stated
he initially had concerns regarding the fence location and the materials being used. After
discussion of the projects with the proponents over the weekend and the presentation of the
project to the Commission, Mr. Lewis stated his concerns were addressed and he had no
further concerns.
PZ/ABR Discussion: Joint motion to approve the “Elba” style fence in the “light bronze” color
was made by Hitt; seconded by Kline.
Ayes: Lazar, Kline, Braverman, Hitt, Mulcahy

PZ/ABR Discussion: Joint motion to approve subject to the following items:
1. Resubmit plans reflecting the corrected length measurements, (should be 25 feet, not 23 feet),
2. Resubmitted plans to be stamped/sealed by either an architect or engineer,
3. The Village Architect will review the resubmitted plans,
4. Also subject to the Village Architect’s review letter, dated October 7, 2010,
5. Verify the span (2- 2x12) for the 18’ door opening/header by the engineer or architect; and
6. Footer for the posts to be 18” diameter and 42” deep was made by Lewis; seconded by Mulcahy.

Proposed Nuclear Medical Trailer
Present: Crandall Miller, Debra DeCappitte
Presentation on a portable nuclear medical trailer was made by the
University Hospital representatives.
#5 ANY OTHER TOPIC FOR DISCUSSION
· Jud Kline wrote an article in Properties Magazine regarding the ‘green initiative and
sustainability certification’ process in Orange Village.
· Ron Kluchin would like to double check the Code on which projects need a ‘stamped’ plan.
The Law Director will look into this issue as well.
Motion to approve the Minutes of the October 5, 2010 meeting was made by Kline; seconded by Hitt.
