A. Motion to authorize the Clerk of Council to advertise for bids for the construction contract for the
Orange Village Service Facility made by Braverman; seconded by Perry

B. ORDINANCE 2012-11
An Ordinance to adopt the Solid Waste Management Plan for the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste
Management District. 1st Reading.
C. ORDINANCE 2012-12
An Ordinance amending Chapter 107, Contracts, of the Codified Ordinances of the Village of Orange,
Ohio, and declaring an emergency.
A motion to suspend the rules made by Brown; seconded by Perry

A motion to amend Ordinance 2012-12 section 1, and to amend subsection (h), Real Estate,
of Section 107.01 of the Codified Ordinances was made by Brown and seconded by Braverman.
The amendment would cause the language of the amended subsection to read and provide: The
Mayor may purchase real property valued below fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000), provided that
a current appropriation supports any such purchase of real estate and provided that Council is
notified of such purchase at the time of the next Council meeting (including any work session).
The Council may, by ordinance, provide for the purchase, sale or lease of real property, valued
at or in excess of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000), with or without public bidding, on such terms
and for such value as Council, in the exercise of its discretion, may deem reasonable and in the
best interest of the Village. After discussion, the roll was called on the amendment to the ordinance.

An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept a Storm Sewer and Drainage Easement from William J.
Rondini and Adeline D. Rondini, Trustees, and declaring an emergency.
