1.	Dan Brown, Council President, called the Work Session to order at 8:00 p.m. 

2.     	Pledge of Allegiance

	Members present: Parks, Bonk, Perry, Braverman, Kluter, Bram, Brown 
	Members absent: None
	Others present: 
		Kathy Mulcahy - Mayor
		Steve Byron – Law Director
		Chris Kostura – Chief of Police
		Mary Kampman – Clerk of Council

4.    	Old Business Discussion of Pending Legislation

	A. ORDINANCE 2010-15
           	An Ordinance amending Subsection c (4) of Section 1161.10 of the Codified Ordinances of Orange Village 
           	to regulate temporary indefinite signs. 2nd  Reading – Referred to P & Z – Recommitted to P & Z

	B. ORDINANCE 2010-21 
          	An Ordinance granting a front yard setback variance and a side yard variance to 
	Paul Takach for his property located at 29250 Pike Drive. 2nd Reading – Referred to 
	P & Z – Approved by P & Z – Public Hearing 
          	September 1, 2010.
         
	C. RESOLUTION 2010-14 (For Discussion)
           	A Resolution explaining the reasons why Council enacted Ordinance No. 2010-14.
           	Discussion ensued about the need for this Resolution and changing some of the language
           

5.    	New Business Discussion of New Legislation and Motions

	A. Motion to authorize the Village Engineer to prepare plans and specifications and the 
	Clerk to advertise for bids for the 2010 Concrete Repair Project.

	This project will not take place for some time because of the Miles Road construction 
	and the Water Line Project. This item will be removed from the agenda.

6.     	Audience Questions and Answers  - No questions 
	
7.     	Comments by Council Members

        	Bram –  As Chairman of Roads Committee, would like to be included in all meetings
        	Bonk – Some garbage collection problems
        	Braverman – Residents should register before April 1 next year for Community Garden
        	Kluter –  Practicing fair journalism
        	Parks –  No comments
        	Perry –  No comments

8.     	Comments by Mayor 
	Orange has outstanding basic services and safety services
	Analytical studies prove excellent results for infrastructure, Parks and Recreation
	Excellent fiscal stability




9.     	Comments by Council President 
	Draft of Chagrin Falls Regional Alternative Transportation Study
	Gallup Letter Discussion

10.   	Adjourned Work Session at 9:12 p.m.
