11. Old Business: Discussion and consideration of Pending Legislation
A. ORDINANCE 2010-15
An Ordinance amending Subsection c (4) of Section 1161.10 of the Codified Ordinances of
Orange Village to regulate temporary indefinite signs.
2nd Reading – Referred to P & Z – Recommitted to P & Z.
B. ORDINANCE 2010-21
An Ordinance granting a front yard setback variance and a side yard variance to Paul Takach for his property
located at 29260 Pike Drive. 2nd Reading – Referred to P & Z – Approved by P & Z August 3, 2010 –
Public Hearing scheduled for September 1, 2010.
C. RESOLUTION 2010-14
A Resolution explaining the reasons why Council enacted Ordinance No. 2010-14.
This Resolution will be discussed at the next meeting.

-Ed Levine – 3929 Lander Road – Community Garden incredible – Open to residents first – after April 1,
2011, open to non-residents if space is available.
-Bruce White, Service Director – Rebuttal to letter to the editor
-Carmen Centanni – 3939 Pinecrest – Lakes of Orange Project – 2 year time limit – should be enforced.
- Received letter on Orange letterhead – needs to be non-partisan

- The Police Department in conjunction with the Valley Enforcement Group
has a license plate reader for one police car.
- Will have amended appropriations for School Resource Officer
Motion was made by Braverman; seconded by Perry to have the Mayor reread the statement
she made at the Work Session of August 4, 2010.
