1.     Dan Brown, Council President, called the Regular Meeting to order at 8:00 p.m.

4.   Presentation by students of Gilmour Academy on the Bio Blitz. The students were 
	informative and answered questions from Council members about the Bio Blitz.

5.    Motion to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting of May 12, 2010 made by Braverman; 
	seconded by Parks.

7.   Motion to approve the Tax Administrator’s Report of May 31, 2010 made by Perry;

8.  Motion to approve the Bills to be Paid for June in the amount of $248,708.77 and 
	additional expenses of  $17,453.57 made by Parks; seconded by Perry.

9.  Motion to accept the bid of Pavement Technologies, Inc. at a cost of $24,338.16 for 
	pavement (reclamite) asphalt  rejuvenation on Brainard Road (Emery to Woodmere line); 
	West Orange Hill; Oxford Court; Sterncrest Drive; Capitol Hill Circle; Nob Hill; and 
	East Orange Hill made by Perry, seconded by Brown.

11.  Old Business: Discussion and consideration of Pending Legislation	

            	A. ORDINANCE 2010-8
            	An Ordinance granting a private garage square footage variance and a front yard 
	setback variance to Carl  Hagerling for his property located at 4939 East Woodcrest Drive. 
	3rd Reading – Referred to Planning and Zoning – Defeated 3 to 2 at May 4th meeting... – 
	There will be a motion to remand the Ordinance to the Planning and Zoning Commission 
	to review a modified plan.

	Motion to remand Ordinance 2010-8 back to Planning and Zoning to review a modified plan made by 
           	Braverman; seconded by Parks

	B. ORDINANCE 2010-12
           	An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Catholic Diocese 
	of Cleveland for the purchase of the St. Margaret of Hungary Parish property located at 
	4680 Lander Road and declaring an  emergency. 3rd  Reading.

	Motion to adopt Ordinance 2010-12 made by Perry; seconded by Parks
	Ayes:     Parks, Perry, Braverman, Brown
              Nays:     Kluter, Bram, Bonk
              Motion passed

	C. ORDINANCE 2010-14
	An Ordinance authorizing the purchase of certain property located at the Northwest Corner of 
	Lander Road and Pike Drive, subject to the approval of the electors of Orange Village, and providing 
	for the submission to the electors of Orange Village the question of acquiring said property, and 
	declaring an emergency. 2nd Reading

	Motion to suspend the rules made by Brown; seconded by Perry

            	Motion to amend Ordinance 2010-14 to eliminate paragraph 3 (Whereas,) paragraph 4 (Whereas) and 
            	paragraph 5 (Whereas) made by Kluter; seconded by Bram. (This verbiage will be put into a separate 
            	Resolution to be drafted by the Law Director)

         Bids are being solicited by the consortium for trash pick up.
         Bids have not come back yet. June 10 is pre-bid meeting at Bedford City Hall
         Council needs to have a copy of the RFP

              Bram –  NOCCA held a seminar on ethics – residents should indicate Orange Village rather than zip code.

	Parks –  City of Euclid purchased St. Robert’s Church for $674,000 for 7.6 acres

16.   Comments by the Mayor – Received e-mail from Pepper Pike police officer commending 
			     Bruce White after witnessing his performance during a fire. 
			     He stated Bruce is an outstanding Fire Chief. 
                                             - Planning sense of Service Department location. Study done by Village Planner

17.   Comments by the Council President – Thanks to Lisa for work on Bio Blitz
