1. Dan Brown, Council President, called the Work Session to order at 8:00 p.m.

4. Presentation of Charter Review Committee Meeting recommendations.
Council members will review the recommendations for Council Meeting June 9.
5. Presentation about land acquisition and service facility by architects Bialosky
and Associates - Jack Bialosky, Jr and Bill Laditka - Discussion followed with comments
from residents. For complete comments, please refer to tape of meeting.

6. Old Business Discussion of Pending Legislation
A. ORDINANCE 2010-8
An Ordinance granting a private garage square footage variance and a front yard setback
variance to Carl Hagerling for his property located at 4939 East Woodcrest Drive.
3rd Reading - Referred to Planning and Zoning and defeated 3 to 2 against.
Public Hearing, which was to be held June 9, will be listed on the Agenda but not called.
There will be a motion to remand at the June 9th meeting.
B. ORDINANCE 2010-9
An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a real estate purchase agreement with
Kathy Justin for the purchase of certain real property located on Lander Road and necessary
for Village operations, and declaring an emergency. 3rd Reading.
C. ORDINANCE 2010-12
An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Catholic Diocese
of Cleveland for the purchase of the St. Margaret of Hungary Parish property located at
4680 Lander Road, and declaring an emergency. 3rd Reading
D. ORDINANCE 2010-13
An Ordinance amending part nine, Streets, Utilities and Public Services Code, by enacting
new Chapter 941, Orange Village Community Garden of the Codified Ordinances of Orange
Village to provide for the Orange Village - Herb Community Garden. 2nd Reading.
The administration requests suspension of the rules.

1. Old Business Discussion of Pending Legislation
A. ORDINANCE 2010-9
An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a real estate purchase agreement with
Kathy Justin for the purchase of certain real property located on Lander Road and necessary

A motion was made to adopt Ordinance 2010-9 made by Braverman; seconded by Perry

2. New Business Discussion of New Legislation and Motions
A. ORDINANCE 2010-14
An Ordinance authorizing the purchase of certain property located at the Northwest
Corner of Lander Road and Pike Drive, subject to the approval of the electors of Orange
Village, and providing for the submission to the electors of Orange Village the question of
acquiring said property, and declaring an emergency. 1st Reading
A motion was made to suspend the rules by Brown; seconded by Parks
