12. Agenda K of New Business – taken out of order. Motion to authorize the purchase of cardio and weight training   
       equipment and administer a Health and Wellness Program – 95% funding provided by a FEMA/AFG Grant 
       with Orange Village share being  $2,560.00 made by Kluter; seconded by Perry. Amended with the approval 
       of Kluter and Perry to include the authorization to purchase the equipment from Legend Equipment in the 
       amount of $23,940.88.

17.   Old Business Discussion of Pending Legislation
	
           A. ORDINANCE 2008-33
           An Ordinance amending Section 1123.02, Section 1123.03, and Section 1143.03 of the Codified Ordinances 
           of Orange Village to revise the Village’s Preliminary Plat and Preliminary Development Plan Review 
          Procedures, and repealing certain ordinances. 3rd Reading – Referred to P & Z – Approved by P & Z 

	Motion to adopt Ordinance 2008-33  by Centanni; seconded by Perry. Amended to read Section11129.14 B.

	B. ORDINANCE 2009-4
             An Ordinance amending Section 121.04 of the Codified Ordinances of the Village to set the Mayor’s 
	compensation and repealing certain ordinances. 3rd  Reading – Public Hearing July 8, 2009 at 8 p.m. 

	C. ORDINANCE 2009-5
	An Ordinance amending Section 111.03 of the Codified Ordinances of the Village to set the 
	compensation of the Orange Village Council. 3rd Reading – Public Hearing July 8, 2009 at 8:01 p.m. 

	Motion to amend Ordinance 2009-5 to reduce compensation to Council from $7,000 to be zero dollars 
	and reduce Council President’s compensation from $8,200 to zero dollars made by Braverman; seconded by Brown

	D. ORDINANCE 2009-6
	An Ordinance approving a final subdivision plat for the Lakes of Orange Subdivision, accepting a dedication 
	for public use of Orange Lake Drive, Lake Placid Court North, Lake Placid Court South, and those portions 
	of the subdivision lying within the bounds of Brainard Road as shown on the plat, for property owned by 
	Lakes of Orange, LLC, authorizing the endorsement thereof “for dedication purposes only.” And authorizing 
	improvements in accordance therewith. Referred to P & Z - Approved by Planning and Zoning -  2nd  Reading.

	An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Professional Design Services Agreement with Stephen 
	Hovancsek & Associates, Inc., for civil site design, geotechnical investigation and landscape design services 
	for the new Orange Village Service Center. 1st Reading. – Will not be on June Agenda

	C. ORDINANCE 2009-8 
	An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Ronald Kluchin Architects, Inc., for 
	Professional Owner’s Representative Services for the new Orange Village Service Center, 
	and declaring an emergency. 1st Reading.

	the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District to provide for membership in the Suburban Council of 
	Governments, and declaring an emergency. 1st Reading

	E. ORDINANCE 2009-10
	An Ordinance amending Section 191.03 of the Codified Ordinances of Orange Village to 
	provide for compensation of the Presiding Official of the Orange Village Mayor’s Court, and declaring 
	an emergency. 1st Reading.

	H. Motion to ratify the application for the Efficient Government Now Grant with Pepper Pike and 
	Moreland   Hills for a street sweeper and sewer jet made by Parks; seconded by Bram.

    	I .  Motion to accept the bid of Perrin Concrete Services in the amount of $136,827.45 base bid 
	and alternate bid of $125,213.50 for the 2009 Concrete Program, an amount totaling $262,040.95 
	– Beechmont Trail –  finding that bid to be the lowest responsible and responsive bid and authorize 
	the Mayor and Treasurer to enter into a contract for the provision of the 2009 Concrete Program 
	made by Centanni; seconded by 
          	Perry.

	J.	Motion to find the bid of the lowest bidder, Perrin Asphalt Company, not responsive to the bid 
	specifications for the 2009 Asphalt Program and to accept the bid of Specialized Construction in the 
       	amount of $131,905 for the 2009 Asphalt Program – Pike Drive – finding such bid to be the lowest 
        	responsive and responsible bidder, and authorizing the Mayor and Treasurer to enter into a contract for  
        	the provision of the 2009 Asphalt Program in conformance therewith made by Perry; seconded by Parks.
