1.	Dan Brown, Council  President, called the Work Session to order at 8:00 p.m.

	Others present:	Kathy Mulcahy - Mayor
			Stephen Byron – Law Director	
			Roger Delman – Treasurer
			Chris Kostura – Chief of Police
			Mary Kampman – Clerk of Council

4.    Old Business Discussion of Pending Legislation
	
	A. ORDINANCE 2008-33
	An Ordinance amending Section 1123.02, Section 1123.03, and Section 1143.03 of the 
	Codified Ordinances of Orange Village to revise the Village’s Preliminary Plat and Preliminary 
	Development Plan Review Procedures, and repealing certain ordinances. 3rd Reading – Referred 
	to P & Z – Being Revised Ordinance 2008-33 will be removed from the agenda until May. 
	David Hartt will make a presentation at the May Work Session.

5.   New Business Discussion of New Legislation and Motions 

	A.  ORDINANCE 2009-3
	An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Ohio Department of 
	Transportation and take any other action necessary to participate in the bulk purchasing of 
	road salt for the 2009-2010 winter season.  The Administration requests a suspension of the rules

	Kluter – 		April 8 is Seder – Special Meeting will be April 1 
	-  		Safety Meeting – March 26 at 6 p.m.
	Parks – 		Finance Meeting held today at 7 p.m.
	- 		Will have final 2008 Report in April – after changes suggested by Auditors
	- 		Discuss recommendations for salary increase for Mayor, 
			Council President and Council
			Public Hearing must be held and  legislation completed by August 1
	Perry –  		Conducting interviews for architects for Service Department Building
	-  		Information will be sent to Council as it becomes available
	-  		Presentations tentatively scheduled for April 
	- 		Discussions at May Work Sessions

8.      Comments by the Mayor
	*Additional item on agenda next week. A motion to approve the purchase of 
	Mobile Data Terminal Replacements  for our police cars. 

	*Submitted several requests for funding for road, water main extensions and various 
	other projects under the    Federal Stimulus

	*Treasurer will come up with recommendations for financing Service Building.
