was sworn in by Mayor Mulcahy.

12. Old Business Discussion of Pending Legislation

A. ORDINANCE 2008-26
An Ordinance granting a service station price sign size variance to
True North Energy, LLC for 27010 Chagrin Boulevard. 2nd Reading –
Referred to P & Z – tabled by P & Z for more information. P & Z has
recommended that the Ordinance be defeated because the advocate
has revised the request and no variance is required.

Motion to adopt Ordinance 2008-26 made by Perry; seconded by Parks.

B. ORDINANCE 2008-28 - AMENDED
An Ordinance amending Section 147.16 of the Codified Ordinances of
Orange Village to provide for an increase in the monthly incentive to
employees who utilize non-village health insurance coverage and to provide
group life and disability insurance to eligible employees pursuant to a
Section 125 Plan, and declaring an emergency. 3rd Reading

Motion to adopt Ordinance 2008-28 as amended made by Perry; seconded by Parks.

C. ORDINANCE 2008-30
An Ordinance approving and confirming the appointment of Stephen Hovancsek
& Associates, Inc., as Orange Village Engineer and repealing certain ordinances.

D. ORDINANCE 2008-31
An Ordinance approving the editing and inclusion of certain ordinances
as parts of the various component codes of the Codified Ordinances of
Orange Village, Ohio, and declaring an emergency. 3rd Reading

E. ORDINANCE 2008-32
An Ordinance appointing the Prosecutor of Orange Village, providing
compensation for the Prosecutor, and repealing certain ordinances. 3rd Reading.

F. ORDINANCE 2008-33
An Ordinance amending Section 1123.02, Section 1123.03, and
Section 1143.03 of the Codified Ordinances of Orange Village to revise
the Village’s Preliminary Plat and Preliminary Development Plan Review
Procedures, and repealing certain ordinances.
2nd Reading - Referred to P and Z – Being Revised

13. New Business Discussion of New Legislations and Motions

A. ORDINANCE 2009-1
An Ordinance to make annual appropriations for current expenses and
other expenditures of Orange Village during the calendar year 2009
and declaring an emergency. 1st Reading

Motion was to suspend the rules made by Parks; seconded by Bram.

Motion to adopt Ordinance 2009-1 made by Perry; seconded by Bram.

B. RESOLUTION 2009-1
A Resolution requesting the County Auditor and Treasurer to advance taxes in
accordance with the Ohio Revised Code.

Motion to adopt Resolution 2009-1 made by Centanni; seconded by Perry.

C. A motion to approve all new members and existing members of the Committees
for 2009 made by
Centanni; seconded by Perry.

Remove John Terlep from Buiilding, Grounds as voting member.
