Council President Dan Brown added two items to the agenda for discussion:
a. Planning and Zoning Candidate Interviews
b. Draft Ordinance An Ordinance amending Part Nine, streets, utilities and other
Public Service Code, by enacting Chapter 939, Solid Waste Collection and
Recycling, to consolidate and provide new regulations for Solid Waste and
Curbside Recycling Collection Services to be provided in the Village.
4. Old Business: Introduction and consideration of:
A. ORDINANCE 2008-5
An ordinance amending Section 1307.01 of the Codified Ordinances of
Orange Village to adopt the 2008 edition of the National Electric Code
and repealing certain ordinances. 3rd Reading P & Z has recommended
approval No discussion
B. ORDINANCE 2008-7
An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the
Cuyahoga County Board of Health or the provision of services to comply
with NPDES Phase II Storm Water requirements.
3rd Reading - No discussion
C. ORDINANCE 2008-8 AS AMENDED
An ordinance amending Section 125.01 of the Codified Ordinances of
Orange Village to change the signatories on Village checks. 3rd Reading
Add As Amended to agenda.
D. ORDINANCE 2008-10
An ordinance granting a rear yard variance to Jay Siegal and Morning
Star Homes for 290 Capitol Hill Circle. 3rd Reading
· Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval.
· Neighbors were notified No one has an objection
· Public Hearing March 12, 2008 at 8:00 p.m.
5. New Business: Introduction and consideration of:
A. ORDINANCE 2008-12
An ordinance appointing Mary Kampman as the Clerk of Council of
Orange Village, establishing the compensation of the Clerk of Council,
repealing certain ordinances and declaring an emergency.
6. Audience comments relative to matters, which advance the good
of the Village.

7. Discussion of Draft Rules of Procedures.
8. Planning and Zoning Vacancy Interviews
Interviews will take place at ten minute intervals The Clerk will contact
all applicants. A Special Meeting will be called for Wednesday,
March 12, 2008 at 5:30 p.m for interviews
9. Draft Ordinance contains old and new regulations. Village will own
recycling bins.
There will be one or two Public Meetings One scheduled for
June 1, 2008 - preceded by Resident Letter

*Appointment of six new employees at Council Meeting.
*Administrative lunch on Wednesday at noon all invited.
*Adopt Bedford Court Waiver Fees on emergency basis.
*Chagrin River Watershed Partners EPA Draft of Priority
Conservation Areas,
Balanced Growth Plan will be referred to Storm water Committee.
Bram *Status of study of traffic flow at Lander Circle Pepper Pike has grant.
*Status of Lakes of Orange meeting is scheduled Preliminary
approval by P & Z.
Centanni *Status of Ordinance 2008-3 still on hold.
*Elected to Board of Directors of NOCCA.
Kluter *Safety issue involved in free delivery of local papers Mayor
has number to call to discontinue service.
*Calls about Gas Wells Brochure is available for residents
*Orange Goes Green June 1, 2008.
Parks *Will have Financial Report next week.
*Attended meeting of Ohio Municipal League for newly elected officials.
*As President of Shaw High School Alumni - announced
Orange High School raised $1,000 to send Shaw High band to China
