ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS
· Ordinance No. 2004-34 An ordinance amending sections of Part Five,
General Offense Code, to authorize the abatement of nuisance animals
from within the village. Tabled.
· Ordinance No. 2005-11 An ordinance amending section 521.11 of the
Codified Ordinances to enact requirements for the trimming of trees, shrubs
and weeds, and declaring an emergency. Passed 6-0.
· Ordinance No. 2005-23 An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept
for Village ownership approximately 1.056 acres of real property with frontage
on Emery Road, and declaring an emergency. Passed 6-0.
· Ordinance No. 2005-24 An ordinance establishing compensation for
Clerk of Council of Orange Village and repealing certain ordinances.
Passed 6-0.
· Ordinance No. 2005-25 An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to release
a water line easement which is not being used for a public purpose, and
declaring an emergency. Passed 6-0.
· Resolution No. 2005-9 A resolution requesting the County Auditor
and Treasurer to advance taxes in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code.
Passed 6-0.
· Resolution No. 2005-10 A resolution in support of amending the Ohio
Constitution to authorize the issuance of general obligation bonds of the
state to finance local government public infrastructure capital improvements,
research and development, and the development of certain sites and facilities
in Ohio, and to expand state and local government authority regarding
economic development. Passed 6-0.
· Resolution No. 2005-11 A resolution appointing an Assessment
Equalization Board to hear objections relative to the improvement of
Emery Road between certain termini by installing water mains and
connections thereto in the public right of way, together with all necessary
appurtenances thereto, and declaring an emergency. Passed 6-0.
· Resolution No. 2005-12 A resolution honoring the lifetime achievement
of Orange Village Fire Chief Fred Fritz, mourning his passing, and
expressing condolence to his family.
Passed 6-0.
· Ordinance No. 2005-26 An ordinance authorizing and directing the
Mayor to apply for financial assistance from the State Issue 2 Ohio Public
Works Commission (OPWC) Infrastructure Bond Program for the funding
of a capital infrastructure improvement project and declaring an emergency.
Passed 6-0.
