DESCRIPTION:Notice is hereby given that the Council of Orange Village will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday\, May 7\, 2025\, at the Orange Village Hall\, 4600 Lander Road\, Orange Village\, Ohio. \nThe purpose of the hearing is for council to hear public comments before it considers the variance request of the owners of 29950 Smithfield. The owners of that property\, who also own the residence immediately to the west of the property\, propose to leave the accessory structure (a barn) on 29950 Smithfield. The Village’s zoning code prohibits having an accessory structure on a parcel of land if there is no principal residence on the property. If the variance is granted\, the barn on the property will remain where it is. \nThe request for variance is on file in the office of the Building Department\, Orange Village\, and it may be viewed by those interested during regular business hours\, Monday – Friday\, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Orange Village Building Department. \nThis notice is published pursuant to Section 1142.06(b)(3) of the Orange Village Codified Ordinances. \n
