My Daily Call

Orange Village offers a free daily call program for our residents. The My Daily Call Program is designed for older adults, disabled persons, those who live alone, or anyone who needs to be checked on daily.

The system calls each enrolled subscriber every day of the week or any specific day of the week, at the same time. The subscriber determines the details. When the subscriber picks up the phone, he or she will hear a voice message. The subscriber will then enter a preset code on the telephone so the system knows they are OK. If the subscriber fails to pick up the call, or if the line is busy, the computer immediately notifies the Police Dispatcher and two emergency contacts. They can then follow up to assure the person’s well-being.

During holidays, vacations or any other time you are away from home a simple call to the Police Department will stop the calls for that period of time. The calls will be made in the daytime between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm, 24/7. Each subscriber will be asked to choose a time they prefer to be called.

This service is not intended to take the place of any other service such as Lifeline, etc.
