Mayor Kathy Mulcahy called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm.

PZ discussion:  The proposed sign is 32 sq. ft.  The new sign update allows 
for a temporary sign on vacant parcels to be 16 sq. ft.  A parcel that has
 frontage on a second public street is entitled to a second sign not to exceed 
16 sq. ft. provided the second street is a minimum of 300 ft.  The construction 
sign and permanent sign can be 32 sq. ft.

No action taken - will need to come back with the correct signage.

PZ/ABR discussion:  Exterior changes being made - changing the screened 
porch to a glass enclosure.  Items listed on letter from the village architect 
dated 9-12-05 were completed.  Motion to approve was made by Kline; 
seconded by Godes.

made by Godes; seconded by Salim.

PZ discussion:  The contractor submitted a stamped drawing showing the reinforcement 
of the existing deck.  Motion to approve was made by Godes; seconded by Salim.

verify what is already there.


#7	PRELIMINARY SITE REVIEW    Erickson Retirement Community

PZ discussion:  Motion to approve the preliminary site plan (package includes 
bound pre-conceptual plan, letter/documents dated 9-16-05 and the master unit 
chart of Eagle's Trace) subject to:
· Not approving the location of the marketing center
· Not approving the carport since it isn't represented anywhere else (Letter - pg. 5 b.)
· Will approve the general character of the signs shown, but not the number of or the sizes
· Eliminate the conceptual photo (Bound packet - pg. 6, lower left corner) for consideration
· Add a fitness center to the list of community buildings (Letter - pg. 7 #15)
· Buildings are to be a minimum of 50% masonry
· Entrance road is to be built to public standards and the village retains the option to 
accept it as a public road

#8	BUILDING COMMISSIONER'S REPORT
Arco house looks great.
Demolition of house - Temple property
State fire inspection report of the Super 8 Motel has not been received at this time.


#9	ANY OTHER TOPIC FOR DISCUSSION
The Village Planner is to work on sign ordinance for the U-3A district after the election.
What options for development are available to the 3 parcels (13 acres) on Brainard Rd.?
Residents studying the exterior maintenance codes are suggesting a policy to inspect 
the exteriors on a 5-yr. cycle.
Revised Master Plan will be submitted this winter.
No meeting October 4, 2005
