Mayor Kathy Mulcahy called the meeting to order at 7:32 pm.

#6 BUILDING COMMISSIONER’S REPORT
· There has been some activity at the gas station at the corner of Miles and
Brainard Roads. The contractor is cleaning up contaminated soil from a 1991
spill in accordance with B.U.S.T.E.R. requirements.
· Merrill Lynch is taking responsibility to improve the (Goldfarb) house on
Beechmont Trail. They have started cleaning up both the exterior and
interior of the dwelling.
· Tom Shields has mailed out approximately 12 letters per week to residents
regarding tall grass. Most owners have been responsive and have
cut their grass. For the few who have not, the Service Department has cut
it and the owners will be billed.
· Mooney’s Gas Station (located at Orange Place and Chagrin Blvd.) will need
to take down the 4 pillars because they have not installed a canopy.
A letter will be sent indicating same.
#7 ANY OTHER TOPIC FOR DISCUSSION
· There has been no activity regarding the gas well, at the Kowalski
property on Pinecrest Drive.
· On July 2nd at the Council Work Session there will be a presentation from
City Architecture regarding the proposed new service garage.
· Happy Birthday to PZ Member Brian Hitt
Motion to approve the minutes of the May 20, 2008 meeting was made by Centanni;
seconded by Hitt.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at approximately 8:45 pm.
