MINUTES Orange Village Planning & Zoning Commission Architectural Board of Review Tuesday, May 6, 2008 – 7:30 pm

Mayor Mulcahy called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm.

Members Present:	Carmen Centanni, Anthony Lazar, Brian Hitt, 
		Scott Lewis, Jud Kline and Mayor Kathy Mulcahy

Members Absent:		John Terlep

Others Present:		Ron Kluchin, Village Architect
			Mary Fisco, PZ/ABR Secretary

#1	FENCE		- Sledding Hill			
			- 29500 Emery Rd.
			- Orange Village Service Department

PZ/ABR Discussion:  Joint motion to approve subject to the fence not being 
higher than forty-two inches (42”) and the color will be natural was made by 
Hitt; seconded by Centanni.

PZ/ABR Discussion:  Joint motion to approve was made by Hitt; seconded by Kline.

ABR Discussion:  Motion to approve was made by Kline; seconded by Hitt.

#4	ANY OTHER TOPIC FOR DISCUSSION

·	Ron Kluchin and Lou Hovancsek will start introducing each project 
	before any discussion begins among the Board Members.
·	Discussion was had on:
	- The amount of for-sale signs in the Village,
	- The amount of properties with long grass,
	- The houses that are in foreclosure and whether to rehab or demolish them; and
	- The two (2) gas stations in the Village.
	- Carmen Centanni mentioned the NOCCA meeting he attended which had 
	information on foreclosed housing.
	The website is www.noccassoc.org.
·	Mayor Mulcahy mentioned House Bill #278 regarding gas wells.


Motion to approve the minutes of the April 15, 2008 meeting was made by 
Kline; seconded by Centanni.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:12 pm.
