MINUTES Orange Village Planning & Zoning Commission Architectural Board of Review Tuesday, April 15, 2008 – 7:30 pm

Mayor Mulcahy called the meeting to order at 7:34 pm.

Members Present:	Carmen Centanni, Anthony Lazar, Brian Hitt (arrived 7:36 pm), 
		Scott Lewis, John Terlep, Jud Kline and Mayor Kathy Mulcahy

Members Absent:	None

Others Present:		Lou Hovancsek, Building Commissioner
			Ron Kluchin, Village Architect
			Mary Fisco, PZ/ABR Secretary

Present:  Patrick Cloonan

PZ/ABR Discussion:  Joint motion to approve subject to reducing the east side 
	patio section to two (2) steps and eliminating the stone steps on the 
	south side and replacing those steps with a boulder wall was made by 
	Lewis; seconded by Hitt.  

Ayes:	Centanni, Lazar, Hitt, Lewis, Terlep, Kline and Mulcahy

#2	BUILDING COMMISSIONER REPORT

·	Mr. Kowalski of 3920 Pinecrest and the surrounding neighbors will be drilling for gas/oil.
·	A contractor for a resident on the corner of Beechmont/Orangewood illegally tied into a 
	sanitary sewer.  Randy Kertesz/Woodbran Sewer is aware of this issue.
·	Temple Emanu El construction is primarily on schedule.  There is an issue with some
	heating units needing additional screening.  

#3	ANY OTHER TOPIC FOR DISCUSSION

·	Discussion was had about plans presentation and plans approval to the PZ/ABR board.
·	Discussion was had about reviewing plans prior to the start of the PZ/ABR meeting.  
	Lou and Ron will develop a procedural plan for a caucus.  
·	There will be a service department proposal to the PZ/ABR board members in the next 
	month or two.


Motion to approve the minutes of the April 1, 2008 meeting was made by Kline; seconded by Hitt.

Abstain:    Lewis and Mulcahy 

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:33 pm.
