Mayor Kathy Mulcahy called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm.

PZ/ABR Discussion: Joint motion to approve subject to the gutters being connected to the
existing storm drainage system and the finishes to match the existing dwelling, was made
by Hitt; seconded by Lazar.

#3 REPORT & RECOMMENDATION - ORDINANCE 2010-25
An Ordinance determining an automotive collection center to be a similar harmonious and
compatible U-7 District Use and granting a Special Use Permit to Great Expectations
on behalf of Michael J. Giarrizzo, for the property located at 27100 Chagrin Boulevard.
Present: Michael Giarrizzo, Mike Battaglia (Dick Bass Representative), Paul Kopp (Architect),
Lauren Angie, Jill Strauss, Armand Guggenheim, David Hartt
PZ Discussion:
Mayor Mulcahy recused herself. Brian Hitt acted as Chairperson Pro-Tem for this project discussion.
Rebecca Schaltenbrand swore in: Michael Giarrizzo, Mike Battaglia (Dick Bass Representative),
Paul Kopp (Architect), Lauren Angie, Jill Strauss, Armand Guggenheim, David Hartt
The signage is not a part of this action.
Motion to recommend subject to David Hartt’s conditions, items #1-6 from the memo dated
November 16, 2010, was made by Lazar; seconded by Hitt.

#4 BUILDING COMMISSIONER’S REPORT
· There are 2 new homes, a swimming pool, and 3-5 interior alteration/addition projects under
construction at the present time.
#5 ANY OTHER TOPIC FOR DISCUSSION
· Discussion was had on a memo that the Law Department wrote regarding a ‘seal’ on
architect drawings.
· Per Mayor Mulcahy in regards to the purchase of the church property:
a. the paperwork will be finalized by the end of this year,
b. there will be 12 soil borings,
c. there will be a wetland walkover and an environmental study performed.
Motion to approve the Minutes of the October 19, 2010 meeting was made by Kline; seconded by Hitt.
