Mayor Kathy Mulcahy called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm.

PZ discussion:  Motion to approve was made by Shanes; seconded by Hitt.

ABR discussion:  Material and color samples were submitted and will match the existing house as close as possible.  
Motion to approve the plans was made by Kline; seconded by Salim.

PZ/ABR discussion:  Requesting the Commission allow Key Bank to be listed on the temporary sign as they are an 
integral part of the project.  The sign meets all other code requirements.  The sign will be parallel to Miles Road.  
Joint motion to approve the sign as submitted was made by Shanes; seconded by Hitt.

#3	REPORT & RECOMMENDATION TO COUNCIL
ORDINANCE NO. 2006-13	An ordinance granting a variance from Chapter 1161 of the Orange village Codified 
Ordinances to the Northeast Ohio Surgery Center at 3755 Orange Place to permit a free-standing sign to be located 
in the Orange Place right-of-way not less than thirty-five feet (35') from the centerline of Orange Place.

Present:  Ms. Ellen Benjamin

PZ discussion:  Motion to recommend council to approve was made by Mulcahy; seconded by Salim.

Abstain:		Centanni

#4	CELLULAR TOWER				Cingular Wireless
							Ed Block, Rep.

Present:  Mr. Ed Block

PZ/ABR discussion:  Plans Examiner has reviewed and approved the construction drawings.  There will be no barbed 
wire on the fencing.  There will be a red light on the tower to be turned on by Orange Village personnel only when a 
helicopter is approaching.  Joint motion to approve was made by Mulcahy; seconded by Centanni.

#6	BUILDING COMMISSIONER'S REPORT
Courtyard by Marriott - will be doing the final walk-through electrical inspection at the sleep clinic.
John Korinek will be retiring as electrical inspector.  John Marrelli will be taking over those responsibilities.

#7	ANY OTHER TOPIC FOR DISCUSSION
Randy Kertesz sought approval to remove various dead trees from the property Lakes of Orange, prior to April 15th, 
to eliminate a possible habitat for the Indiana bat.  The trees indicated for removal are trees that would have been 
cleared regardless. Motion to approve the removal of trees subject to the Engineer conducting an on-field site review 
was made by Mulcahy; seconded by Centanni.

Motion to approve the minutes of March 7, 2006 was made by Centanni; seconded by Kline.
