An ordinance authorizing the modification or amendment of deed restrictions imposed on certain 
property by P & Y Development Co. Limited Partnership in favor of Orange Village.

and self-contained breathing apparatus.

6.    Motion to accept the minutes of the May 3, 2006 special meeting as amended was made by Centanni; 
seconded by Brown.  Corrections:  Change “regular meeting” to “special meeting” in the title and include

An ordinance to levy and collect a special assessment for the costs of abating a nuisance by removing 
unlicensed vehicles and other personal property from the property at 4819 East Fairview Drive, permanent 
parcel no. 901-40-008.  3rd reading.

Motion to approve Ordinance No. 2006-14 was made by Perry; seconded by Brown.

G.	ORDINANCE NO. 2006-20
An ordinance amending certain sections of the Codified ordinances of Orange Village to alter development 
standards and procedures in the S-1 Special Residential District, incorporating certain procedural changes 
in Chapter 1143, Development Plan Review, and repealing certain ordinances.  3rd reading, as amended.
*Planning & Zoning Commission recommends council to approve Ordinance No. 2006-20.

H.	ORDINANCE NO. 2006-21
	An ordinance granting a yard variance to Stanley Friedlander and Cheryl Karner, for their property

*Schedule a public hearing on June 14, 2006 at 8:00 pm.

I.	ORDINANCE NO. 2006-22
An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept for village ownership a frame dwelling located on approximately 
.0493 of an acre of land at 28600 Jackson Road in Orange Village, and declaring an emergency.  2nd reading.

Motion to suspend the rules was made by Perry; seconded by Soroky.

An ordinance authorizing Orange Village, Ohio to become a member of, adopting the Code of Regulations of, 
and directing the Mayor to enter into the Membership Agreement, the Master Services and Consulting Agreement, 
and the Master Products Agreement with, the Northeast Ohio Sourcing Office.  2nd reading.

K.	ORDINANCE NO. 2006-24
An ordinance approving and adopting the Orange Village Master Plan, dated April 24, 2006.  2nd reading.
*Referred to the Planning & Zoning Commission.

L.	ORDINANCE NO. 2006-25
An ordinance amending certain sections of Chapter 1303 of the Orange Village codified Ordinances to adopt the 
Residential Code of Ohio for one-, two-, and three-family dwellings, authorizing a request to the Ohio Board of 
Building Standards to certify Orange Village for enforcement of the Residential Code of Ohio to exercise enforcement 
authority and accept and approve plans and specifications and make inspections, and repealing certain ordinances.  
2nd reading.

M.	ORDINANCE NO. 2006-26
An ordinance amending Chapter 125 of the Codified Ordinances of Orange Village to create the position of 
Finance Administrator and to permit the Finance Administrator to sign checks, and establishing the pay range 
of the Finance Administrator.  2nd reading.


12.  New Business: Introduction and consideration of:
A.	ORDINANCE NO. 2006-27
An ordinance levying special assessments for the improvement of Orange Place in Orange Village from Chagrin 
Boulevard southerly approximately 1,750 feet by repaving, widening and installing sidewalks, curbs, landscaping 
and streetscaping, together with all necessary appurtenances, in accordance with Resolution No. 2003-3, adopted 
April 9, 2003, and declaring an emergency.  1st reading.

B.	ORDINANCE NO. 2006-28
An ordinance levying special assessments for the improvement of the eastern side of 
Orange Place from a point approximately 1,750 feet south of Chagrin Boulevard southerly 
approximately 700 feet by installing sidewalks, landscaping and streetscaping, in accordance with Resolution 
No. 2003-4, adopted April 9, 2004, and declaring an emergency.  1st reading.

C.	ORDINANCE NO. 2006-29
An ordinance amending subsection (a) of section 1148.02 of the Codified Ordinances of 
Orange Village to modify regulations related to attached garages and to repeal conflicting ordinances.  
1st reading.
