ORDINANCE NO. 2004-37 An ordinance granting a variance from section 1161.06 of the Orange Village Codified Ordinances to the Signature Sign Company for the property at 3755 Orange Place to permit certain signage. 3rd reading. *Planning & Zoning defeated the motion to recommend passage of Ordinance No. 2004-37 on 12-21-04. *Signature Sign Co. withdrew its request for a variance on 1-20-05. ORDINANCE NO. 2005-1 An ordinance engaging Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co. L.P.A., as special counsel to collect certain debts, and engage in any legal proceedings related thereto, on behalf of Orange Village and declaring an emergency. 2nd reading. D. ORDINANCE NO. 2005-3 An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a collective bargaining agreement with the Fraternal Order of Police and declaring an emergency. 2nd reading. 11. NEW BUSINESS: Introduction and consideration of: A. ORDINANCE NO. 2005-2 An ordinance amending certain sections of Chapter 775 of the Codified Ordinances to bring the village code into harmony with the state law. 1st reading, as amended. B. RESOLUTION NO. 2005-2 A resolution or ordinance withholding consent for the remission of taxes, penalties and interest on an application for real property tax exemption filed under section 3 of Sub. REPORT OF COUNCIL MEMBERS AND COMMITTEES Bram - no report Braverman - candidates for council should be asked about the nuisance animal ordinance Kluter - glad the nuisance animal ordinance is tabled - concerned about the safety Weisblatt - Hunting Valley Police Dept. and the Orange Senior Center are interested in participating with the CERTS team. 16. Motion to adjourn to executive session for the purpose of discussing employee compensation (union contract) with Police Chief Kostura and pending litigation was made by Weisblatt; seconded by Bram.
