Sergeant Marvin has been a member of the Orange Village Police Department since 1997. He has a four-year degree in criminal justice from Kent State University and is a graduate of the Summit County Sheriff's Training Academy.
Sergeant Marvin handles any problem in the village that involves juveniles. He investigates all juvenile crimes, and is especially interested in keeping your children on the right track. Sergeant Marvin is currently supervising the Orange Community Diversion Program, which is aimed at helping children at a local level who find themselves in trouble. The program allows him to be directly involved with the juvenile and their family.
Sergeant Marvin is also a member of the Safe Kids / Safe Community Coalition of Cuyahoga County. Along with the coalition,
he promotes child seat safety, seat belt usage, and programs aimed at stopping aggressive driving in the community.
Sergeant Marvin works closely with the community and is always glad to meet with parents or civic organizations. He invites calls from anyone with a problem.
