Your input is important to the Village Council!
Council meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, and are open to the public. Residents
are encouraged to attend meetings whenever possible.
Residents may also serve on committees. Apply today to serve on a committee...help make Orange

Members of the Village Council are elected by the residents of Orange Village, to serve a term of four years, without term limitations.
The Mayor is elected by the residents of Orange Village, to a four year term without term limitations.
- Council President is elected by the members of the council.
- President Pro-tem is elected by the members of the council.
- Clerk of Council is an appointed position.
- Planning and Zoning Representative is an appointed position.
- Newsletter Editor is a volunteer position.

Council President Mark A. Parks, Jr.
Orange Village Council voted unanimously for Mark Parks
as Council President on January 5th, 2011.
Mr. Parks was originally sworn into office January 1, 2008. He also served on Council in 2005 after being selected by unanimous decision to fill a council vacancy. A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Parks was appointed as Acting Fiscal Officer for Cuyahoga County on January 13, 2011. He has served as Finance Chair for the last three years. Mr. Parks is committed to transparency in government in all aspects.
