Council Member Ed Bonk

Ed Bonk has served on council since January 2010. He has lived in Orange Village for the past 26 years with his wife Susan. Their two daughters, Lisa and Emily, are graduates of Orange High School. He continues to volunteer with the school system and is a member of Orange Boosters.

Ed is the Director of Planning and Analysis for Green Energy Technologies, Inc., as well as serving as a board member for Polyflow Corporation. He received a chemistry degree from Wayne State University and his MBA from the University of Michigan.

He is involved in various committees for the village, including serving as a member for the Finance Committee and the Stormwater Management Committee. He also serves as the Chairman for the Volunteer Firefighters Dependents Fund.

Ed is proud to serve as a member of council, and is committed to examining all of the issues that will impact the community, as well as making sure that the residents’ opinions are heard. He welcomes input from residents, and can be reached at his email address.
